  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup optional, to taste
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon optional, for warmth
  • 1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper enhances turmeric absorption
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes optional, for a colder smoothie

Method
 

  1. Add the sliced banana, turmeric, milk, honey (if using), cinnamon, black pepper, and ice cubes to a blender.
  2. Blend on high speed for 30-45 seconds until completely smooth and creamy. Scrape down the sides if needed and blend again.
  3. Pour the smoothie into a clear glass. Optionally garnish with a pinch of turmeric or a banana slice on the rim. Serve right away for best flavor and texture.
